The stated dimensions are the external dimensions of the Design corner sofa. To calculate the width of the seat, subtract 40 cm from each side: 20 cm width for the armrests and 20 cm for the backrest that slopes diagonally. Example: a 200 x 200 corner sofa has a seat of 160 x 160.

The Scaffold Wood Design corner sofa is characterized by a backrest that is the same height as the seat height on one side of the sofa, giving the sofa a beautiful design look.

Our corner sofas feature a spacious seat 60 cm deep and a slanted backrest for a comfortable lounge position. The seat height without cushions is 35 cm and with cushions 43 cm; the armrests are 63 cm high and approximately 20 cm wide so you can place your glass on them. We make all our furniture entirely to measure, so naturally these dimensions can be fully adjusted to your wishes.

Extra thick cushions:
The seat cushions are supplied as standard with a thickness of 8 cm. For those who want an upgrade, we can also supply 12 cm thick seat cushions. This will provide more luxurious seating comfort and also offers more comfort when you lie stretched out in a reclining position on our sofas.

Seat cushion filling upgrade:
Standard seat cushions are supplied with SG 35 polyether. SG35 polyether is resilient, supple, and flexible. When compressed, this foam quickly springs back to its original shape, making it ideal for seat cushions.
We can also upgrade the filling with HR 40 cold foam. This foam rubber has even better compression than SG 35 and ventilates significantly better, making it extremely resistant to mold. Furthermore, HR 40 is characterized by supple resilience and has a much longer lifespan than SG 35 foam rubber, allowing you to enjoy your garden cushions for even longer.

Extra seat depth for the ultimate lounging:
Our lounge sets and corner sofas come standard with a 60 cm seat depth. For those who want the absolute ultimate lounge feel, you can choose an 80 cm seat depth, allowing you to lie completely stretched out in your lounge set and turning sitting in the garden into a true experience.

To make this possible, we are adjusting the construction. This means the armrests will also become wider and deeper, and we need to strengthen the structure under the sofa. Furthermore, your cushions will automatically be adjusted to this seat depth if you order your lounge set with cushions, so the additional cost covers both the sofa and the cushions.

So note that the total depth also changes:

Total depth at 60cm seat depth: approx. 85 cm
Total depth at 80cm seat depth: approx. 105 cm

Tip:
Choose extra loose scatter cushions from the selection menu for extra support in the corners, ideal if you want to stretch out on your sofa.

Want to create an extra seat or chaise lounge?

Then select in the menu to add a cushion to the ottoman as well! It has the same height as the seat of the corner sofa, so it can be pulled up nicely!

All-Weather pillows

Complete your corner sofa with a matching ALL-Weather cushion set! The cushions are dirt and water repellent and colorfast. They also feature a zipper so they can be easily washed. View our selection or come try them out in the showroom.
